City of Aurora officials announced Hugo Saltijeral is the grand marshal of the Fourth of July parade.
Hugo was selected for his leadership, generosity, and commitment to the community. The parade will step-off at the intersection of Benton Street and Broadway Avenue at 10 a.m., Friday, July 4. The reviewing stand will be in front of the David L. Pierce Art and History Center, at 20 E. Downer Place.
Free parking is available throughout the downtown, including the Stolp Island Parking Garage for parade day. Spectators are encouraged to arrive before 9:30 a.m. to provide enough time for parking and viewing preparation on the parade route.
The City’s fireworks show is set for Thursday, July 3 at 9:15 p.m..
