Suburban Norwegian-Americans will celebrate their heritage at the 44th annual Scandinavian Day Festival on Sunday, Sept. 8 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Vasa Park, 35W217 Rt. 31 in South Elgin. Admission is $15 for ages 13 and up. Parking is free.
The event will feature Scandinavian food, vendors, entertainment, and children’s activities.
