Aurora Area Retired Teachers Association will host Strike Out Hunger, a bus trip to the Chicago White Sox game Sunday, June 14.
The charter-bus outing will benefit the Salvation Army Aurora Corps.
Dick Schindel, AARTA president, said the public is invited. A tailgate party includes soda, water and table service. Attendees are asked to bring a dish to pass.
June 14, an AARTA charter bus will go to the Sox vs. world champion L.A. Dodgers game at Chicago. A bus will leave at 10:15 a.m. from door 15 at East Aurora High School, 500 Tomcat Lane in Aurora.
Tickets are $90. A portion of ticket sales will benefit the Aurora Salvation Army.
