• Bellringing at Aurora Historical Society Tanner House, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 4, with activities for kids.

• Festival July 4-July 8. Carnivals each day at 700 S. Bartlett Road. Live music each day in the afternoon and evening. Fireworks will be at 9:30 p.m. July 4.

• The 4th of July Sky Concert will start at 5 p.m. at Engstrom Park, 1298 Main Street, with food and musical groups Orange Star and the Batavia Community Band. Fireworks will start at 9:30 p.m..

• LibertyFest will start with a parade at Town Center at 10 a.m. July 4. Redmond Park, 12 South Center Street, will have music and fun until the fireworks start at dusk.

• All day activities at the Bolingbrook Golf Club, 2001 Rodeo Drive, July 4 will start at 3 p.m. with kids games, food, and live music. Fireworks will be at dusk.
Burlington
• There will be festivities at Burlington Park on Park Street starting at 5 p.m. July 3. Fireworks will take place at dusk.
Carpentersville
• Music at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at Meadowdale Park, Besinger Drive and Maple Avenue.
Carol Stream
• A parade will start at 10 a.m. July 4 at County Farm and Lies Roads. Fourth of July concert and food trucks will take place at 6 p.m. at 960 North Gary Avenue. Fireworks will begin at 9:20 p.m..

• Wednesday, July 4 a celebration will be held in Community Park. Family activities will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by a parade at 6 p.m.. Fireworks will start at 9:15 p.m..

• Downtown parade July 4 at 9 a.m. will start at the corner of Douglas and Slade.

• Fireworks at Kane County Cougars Class A minor league baseball following 6:30 p.m. games June 30 and July 2-3.
Glen Ellyn
• July 4 the Fourth of July parade will start at Ellyn Ave and Crescent Boulevard at noon. Carnival and food from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.. Fireworks at dusk, all at Lake Ellyn, 645 Lenox Road.
Glendale Heights
• Glendale Heights Fest will have music, food, and fun July 11-15 at 101 E. Fullerton Avenue. Fireworks will be July 11, 12 and 15 at 9:30 p.m..

• July 4 there will be a 10 a.m. parade at Sixth and Garfield. A family festival will follow at Burlington Park, 19 E. Chicago Avenue, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. .

• Northwest Fourth-Fest will be a five-day event, July 4-July 8, with a carnival, arts and crafts, rides, food. A parade will be July 7 at 9 a.m. at Illinois Boulevard, with fireworks at 9:30 p.m. at Sears Centre Arena grounds, 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway.

• Fireworks will be July 4 at Deicke/Warrington Park at dusk.

• Fireworks will be shot of after 7:05 p.m. Slammer Baseball games at Joliet Route 66 Stadium, July 3-5.
Lisle
• Eyes to the Skies June 29-July 1 with carnival, music, food, and games; fireworks 9:45 p.m.; all at 1825 Short Street. Balloon launches and balloon glows are subject to weather conditions for safety reasons. Veggie Fest will have a food booth.

• Fireworks will take place in Madison Meadow Park, Madison Street and Ahrens Avenue, July 4 at 9:30 p.m..

• Ribfest will be July 4 through July 7 at Knoch Park with fireworks at 9:30 p.m. July 4. There will be notable bands such as Pitbull, Jake Owen, and Steven Tyler.

• A BYOB picnic will start at 7 p.m. with music of The New Vintage Strings at Riverfront Park, behind the Village Hall, July 3. Fireworks will be set off at dusk.

• The Taste of Oak Brook will be held July 3 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Polo Grounds off of 31st Street between Spring and York Roads. Fireworks at dusk.

• Fireworks will be July 4 at 9:30 p.m. at the Prairie Point Park.
Ottawa
• Fireworks will be shot off at dusk through 10:30 p.m. July 4 over the Illinois River. Best viewing will be at Ottawa Township High School, 211 E. Main Street.

• Lakewood Falls will hold fireworks at dusk Saturday, June 30, at Bruce Ponti Park.
• Picnic, games, and music, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. July 3 at Plainfield Central High School, 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive, followed by fireworks at dusk.

• The Sandwich Fairgrounds will be the start of a parade Saturday, June 30 at 10 a.m.. Sunday, July 1 there will be fireworks at dusk.

• The Schaumburg Boomers baseball stadium, 1999 Springinsguth Road, will have fireworks July 3-4 after 6:30 p.m. games.
Sleepy Hollow
• Events July 4 will start at 8 a.m. with a fun run, car show, food, and entertainment at Sabatino Park, 71 Thorobred, a parade at 11:30 a.m., pie-eating contest at 2:30 p.m., and fireworks at 9:15 p.m..
South Elgin
• Parade at West Spring Street and Wedgewood Drive Monday, July 4 at 10 a.m..
Villa Park
• The Villa Park V.F.W. Post 2801 will have its annual Independence Day Parade July 4. The parade will step off at noon and go west on Central Street to Harvard Avenue.

• The Fourth of July parade will be at 6 p.m. July 3 and go south on Warren Avenue and end at Woodland Road. July 4 at Cerny Park from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. will be food, games, entertainment, and fireworks at dusk. Children’s parade noon July 4.
West Chicago
• Railroad Days will take place July 12-15 at Pioneer Park, 479 W Forest Avenue. There will be a carnival, beer garden, and music. Sunday, July 9 there will be a parade at 1 p.m. starting at the corner of Inglaton Avenue and Elmwood Street.
Westmont
• Food, games, drinks, and music will start at 4 p.m. July 4 at Ty Warner Park, corner of Plaza Drive and Blackhawk Drive. Fireworks at dusk.
Wheaton
• A family fun event will take place at 4 p.m. July 3 in Graf Park, 1701 Manchester Road, with fireworks at dusk. Parade will start at Main Street and Wakeman Avenue at 10 a.m. downtown July 4.
Yorkville
• July 4 parade at 9 a.m. will start at Yorkville High School, Game Farm Road and Church Street, and go south. Games, food, and music to follow at Town Square Park. Fireworks will be shot near Route 47 and Countryside Parkway at dusk.
