Poem: Sincerely: Happy Easter

This moment of Easter is here for a moment, you know;
In just a brief moment, its import and message will go.
You know what its message is, and its importance to us;
But, with or about it, we rarely will choose to discuss.
We leave that for sermons, the themes we have all heard before.
That satisfies what is expected of us, nothing more.
The personal touches—the advent of Springtime is rife;
The Easter parading which now is a part of each life.
A solemn attention to detail, for some, is a must;
Those details, however, are followed because of their trust.
The moment of Easter is gone in a subconscious wink;
Its message and impact not lucid in what you now think.
All this will not change anything, like in what you may do,
Despite that, may I then express Happy Easter to You!
