The sixth annual Aurora Pooch Parade will take place Sunday, Oct. 6, at 11 a.m. at the Sunken Garden of Phillips Park, 1000 Ray Roses Drive in Aurora.
The public is invited.
To enter:
•All dogs must be current on vaccinations.
•All must be socialized.
•All must have a standard leash while at the event.
•An application must be submitted by Wednesday, Oct. 2.
The first 125 registrants are guaranteed a spot in the Parade and can compete for one of the following titles:
•Biggest Dog
•Smallest Dog
•Best Costume
•Twinsies (Owner & Dog)
•Most Energetic
•Fan Favorite
Many pet vendors will be on-site!
The Aurora Animal Care and Control Center will take donations of dog and cat food, toys and treats.
