Snowy Sunday St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Aurora

The snow storm Sunday, March 16, didn’t stop Aurora from celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a parade. Candy and smiles were abound. The event ended with an Irish flag raising at the Grand Army of the Republic Museum.

An early Sunday, March 16 snow storm didn’t deter Aurora Lions Club members from marching in Aurora’s St. Patrick’s Day parade. From left are Joe Beary, Jay Short, Dick Schindel, and club president Randy Brown. Paul Buddy loaned his truck for the parade, and Lions members Saul Olivas, Carrie Snyder, Tim Snyder, Arvid Meyer and Susan Koepke participated. Approximately 30 units were in the parade.
