Too many of us do not use their intellect
To formulate, absorb, or grasp what’s happening.
It seems their instant likes and dislikes will affect
The way they choose to think about most everything.
But, here, be honest…this will also include you.
A basic fact, we all are hit with the same stick.
So we believe our innate feeling is the true
Opinion everyone should have—a fateful trick.
And if it is a person on whom you must judge,
Your instant like or dislike will come into play,
And first impressions are not easy things to budge,
Which also means that what you think will have to stay.
Since thinking, by itself, is not an easy task,
The less we do, the more we like it, constantly.
So taking an easy way out is what we ask.
That means you will not think about this arguably!
