Woman’s Club of Aurora announces its annual Spring fundraiser, using a cruise theme, SS Aurora Spirit. All are welcome aboard this event to benefit local philanthropies and scholarships Saturday, March 25 at Belle Salle Banquets, 1915 East New York Street Doors will open at 11 a.m.. There will be various ports of call celebrated with cruise decor and in the entertainment presented by musician Terry Wold.
Crew captain, Rebecca Wolverton, and co-captain, Chris Huberty promise plenty of action with raffles, silent auction items, door prizes, and cash ‘n’ carry tables at the 11 a.m. opening, as well as various displays. Luncheon will be served at noon following a welcome by club president, Dawn Magana.
As always, all proceeds will be a benefit for Aurora area philanthropies and scholarships.
Tickets for adults are $55. and $25. for children 12 and under.

The Woman’s Club is affiliated with General Federation of Women’s Clubs International with headquarters in the Dupont Circle neighborhood in Washington, D. C.. The Aurora area Club has been actively involved in volunteer community service since October 1891. Luncheon meetings, including a program, are the second Tuesday of each month, September through May, at noon, most recently at Gaslite Manor and Orchard Valley Golf Clubhouse.
