“We had over 336 cars today. It was a wonderful success!!”

That’s how State Rep. Stephanie Kifowit reported her electronics recycle and document shred day on Saturday. The free, drive-thru event from 9 a.m. to noon was held in the parking lot at Kifowit’s constituent office in Aurora.

Drivers started lining up 30 minutes in advance.

In addition to recycling electronics and shredding documents, used cell phones, eyeglasses and books were collected.
