The St. Charles Arts Council will host its 2025 Student Art Show April 12 through May 4. The exhibit will feature artwork from 182 student artists, will be on display at the SCAC Arts Resource Center, 121 N. 2nd Street, Suite H, St. Charles. Gallery hours will be Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m to 3 p.m..
“What an explosion of interest!” commented SCAC executive director Kathryn Hill. “We had 145 submissions last year and thought we’d never beat that number. But the kids came out in force and the quality of talent is terrific!”
Students from Aurora to Elgin were invited to submit artwork for the show. There was no fee to participate. Due to the high number of entries, two separate Artist Receptions will be held Saturday, April 12. Elementary students are invited for a reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and middle and high school students will be celebrated from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m..
