Aurora author Marilyn Huntman Giese will sign copies of The Eye of God, A Fisherman’s Tale from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 5 at Yellow Bird Books, 34 S. Stolp Avenue, Aurora.
The book is about the fascinating epic rise of Christianity through the eyes of Simon Peter, told in Peter’s voice. Giese’s research and travels to the Holy Lands bring to life the cultural climate in the Middle East during the first Christian century. Having made this mission her life’s work, Giese brings a passion to her writing that has inspired readers in their own faith.
