Aurora will have many events in the downtown this month and in December:
• A Magical Winter in Downtown Aurora
Everyone can have a ball in downtown Aurora in the Winter. It’s A Magical Winter with “Cinderella” at Paramount Theatre starting Wednesday, Nov. 10. Other magical events include Winter Lights festivities November 19 and Holiday Art and Market from 9 a.m. to noon at Society 57 November 13 and 20 and December 11 and 18. The annual Cocoa Crawl will be Friday, Dec. 3 at First Fridays at participating businesses. Santa will visit Millennium Plaza for free photos at the gazebo from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. the first three Saturdays in December. Aurora Downtown on Facebook.
• Cinderella at Paramount Theatre
One of the most beloved and cherished fairy tales live on Paramount’s stage and with all the spectacle and splendor you’ve come to expect. From pumpkins into carriages to tattered rags into a beautiful gown, “Cinderella” will delight and enchant young and old alike. After all, you’re never too young for a little magic and never too old to believe. You may know the story, but you’ve never seen it like this one. November 10 through January 9, 2022.
• Art and Market
Art and Market Aurora will be back for four dates this holiday season. The indoor market will be openfrom 9 a.m. to noon at Society 57, 100 S. River Street on the second and third Saturdays each in November and December.
• Winter Lights
Winter Lights festivities will usher in the holiday season starting at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19. There will be a light parade along Downer Place complete with a tree-lighting and fireworks and food vendors and live music along Stolp Avenue.
• Cocoa Crawl
Grab a mug and a button and warm up in downtown Aurora. Aurora Downtown’s annual Cocoa Crawl will return from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3. Mugs will be available for sale in at participating downtown merchants, and at Art and Market from 9 a.m. to noon at Society 57, 100 S. River Street, Saturdays, November 13 and 20.
• Santa at the Gazebo
Santa will visit Millennium Plaza on Stolp Avenue from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on the first three Saturdays in December. At Santa at the Gazebo those in attendance can receive free photo downloads. Mrs. Claus will visit December 4.
