Children through sixth grade are invited to participate in the 21st annual Trunk or Treat, sponsored by Plano Methodist Church Sunday, Oct. 13, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Plano Methodist Church parking lot, 219 N. Hale Street, Plano.
The Halloween fun-filled activity will have car trunks fashionably-decorated in fall colors and Halloween items arranged in a huge circle. Children can visit the trunks in the safety of the church parking lot and pick out treats at each stop. Games, refreshments, photo booth, favorite trunk contest, and ghoulish fun will be available. Costumes are welcome.
Participants are encouraged to bring canned goods or paper products for the Kendall County Community Food Pantry.
It’s not too late to provide a trunk for the Trunk or Treat. If you provide a trunk, please decorate it in Halloween fashion, provide candy or novelty toys for the children and arrive at the Plano Methodist Church parking lot by 12:30 p.m. October 13.
