•Tablescapes, Saturday, April 5, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m..
Join us at the Yorkville Public Library April 5 any time between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to enjoy 12 beautifully, creatively decorated tables designed by community members. All proceeds from this event benefit local charities, organizations, and the Library.
Participants will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite table and support their favorite charities, too.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at the circulation desk or on the day of the event at the door for $10 per person.
•Window Art, April 7-12 (you choose the day and time that is convenient)
Help us liven up the library with window art. You can come in anytime/any day (April 7-12) to create your artwork. Please register for the event on the website. Space is limited.
•LEGO Meet Up, Tuesday, April 8, 12:30 p.m..
Join us to make amazing LEGO creations and hang out with others. LEGOs will be provided, you bring the creativity!
•Book Club (grades 1-2), Wednesdays, April 8 and 15, 4:30 p.m..
In the two-session book club, we will read an easy-read chapter book. Please register for both dates on the YPL website.
•Toddler Play, Wednesday, April 9 and Monday April 21, 10:30 a.m..
Caregivers and littles stop by to play at the library and meet new friends. No registration is needed.

•Yorkville High School Vex Robotic Team, Saturday, April 12.
This year’s YHS VEX Robotics Team will have two teams competing at the 2025 VEX Worlds Robotics Competition in Dallas, Texas in May. This is your chance to meet the team and get a sneak peek at the robots. There will be an opportunity to drive the robots and interact with the field. Check YPL website for times.
•LEGO Kits, April 14-19 (you choose the day and time that is convenient)
Come by the library during open hours the week of April 14. We will provide a themed container of various LEGOs for you to use in the library. Using only the bricks provided and your creativity, make your build. Your creation will be added to the LEGO display at the library.
•TEEN: Cookie Decorating, Tuesday, April 15, 4 p.m..
Mrs. Bethany will teach specialized techniques needed to create beautiful, delicious treats. All materials are provided except a container to take home your creations. Please register on the YPL website.
