The West Aurora Cemetery Board of Trustees will hold its annual meeting at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 29. Anyone with family members buried at the cemetery, 607 Wilder Street in Aurora, is welcome to attend. Community members who are interested in this historic cemetery are welcome. The cemetery, the oldest in Aurora, is the burial place of many of Aurora’s founders, war veterans, and is listed on the National Historic Register. West Aurora madrigal dinner Dec. 15
The public is invited to West Aurora High School’s 32nd annual madrigal dinner Saturday, Dec. 15 at the high school, 1201 W New York Street, Aurora, at 6 p.m.. West Aurora’s Madrigal Singers, Lyric Chorus, and Royal Brass will perform in period costumes. School culinary arts students will prepare the menu.
Tickets are $25 per person for seating in groups of six to eight persons.

East Aurora Distinguished Alumni Dec. 21
The East Aurora High School Alumni Association invites the public to attend the 2018 Distinguished Alumni Banquet at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 at East Aurora High School Atrium, 500 Tomcat Lane, Aurora. The Alumni Association will induct Robert E. Brent, Class of 1957 and Dr. Karrie (Mrazek) Fitzpatrick, Class of 1998 into the Distinguished Alumni.
Tickets are $20 and available at the door. Admission includes the ceremony, food, and drink.
