The West Aurora School District 129 is accepting submittals of those interested to fill the vacancy resulting from the resignation of the Board seat of Amie Thompson.
The individual selected will serve on the School Board from the dates of June 18 through April 15, 2019.
The candidate questionnaire can be obtained by contacting jengfer@sd129.org. The candidate pool will be open for submissions through June 1.
Per Board Policy 2.040, all candidates must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years of age, a resident of Illinois, live within the district for at least one year, and be a registered voter.
