The MEDC (Montgomery Economic Development Corporation) announces the winners from the annual golf outing and congratulates all the winners. The MEDC thanks everyone for support at the 15th annual Golf Outing this year at Bliss Creek, Sugar Grove Saturday, Sept. 13.
More than 130 individuals attended the event which included 104 golfers representing a variety of businesses in Montgomery and their clients, along with staff members, volunteers, village trustees, and MEDC members.
We had another low score tie, which gets recalculated by the golf course. The winners with the lowest score were from Old Dominion which included Dan Pakula, Paul Gonzalez, Dan Laturo, and Steve Kositzky. Winners on the mixed team, lowest score were from Old Dominion with golfers Pat Foster, Dave Nelson, Becky Marolda, and Mike Knight. Jim Smith and Cally Larson won longest drive. Closest to the pin was won by Lisa Bergland from the Suburban Sheltie Rescue and Paul Panozzo a client of one of the Old Dominion’s team.
All players received a special buddy bag, filled with a sleeve of golf balls and tees. A variety of special contest holes were sponsored these included Earthmovers Credit Union, Servpro and Ellevate consulting & Fitzpatrick development group.
This year we had the largest crowd ever, some of the greatest donations and raffles along with a great steak dinner and hot lunch.
