No matter how you came to see them, brooding round their pot,
Their stark black garbs identical, down to the common stitch,
You realize that this Halloween is different, like as not,
And tremble knowing that you cannot tell which witch is which.

But you don’t have to worry, and you know it, plain as day;
You just make light—or even fun—of it instead of fear.
For witches can’t stand laughter, having fun, in any way;
For then they don’t know what to do, and that becomes quite clear.

Remember Dorothy? However innocent she was
Tossing that water, that was like not being afraid at all.
And that destroys witches, very much like laughter does.
So put some solid fun in Halloween, and Have A Ball!
