Dear editor;
The Illinois Department of Transportation has sent an answer to me that I correctly have identified the engineering standards for length of “yellow change interval,” but cannot make it a mandate for city government of Aurora. I have been educating individuals that the way to survive the red light photo enforcement at two intersections along East New York Street (Eola, and Commons) is to drive 40 miles per hour in the 45 miles per hour uniform zone. The yellow light is now at four seconds.
