The Yorkville Public Library Youth Service Department will have many events in September. All events will take place at the Library, 902 Game Farm Road, unless otherwise noted. For more information, or to register, call 630-553-4354 or visit www.yorkville.lib.il.us.

•4th Annual Story Walk Event, Thursday, Sept. 11, 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m..
Yorkville voted for their favorite Laurie Keller book. Come to YJWC Heartland Park to find out which book won. Join us for fun family activities, and meet author/illustrator Laurie Keller.
Frozen treats and books will be available for purchase.

•Chalk the Walk, Friday, Sept. 12, 11 a.m.
Join us to decorate the sidewalk outside of the library!

•LEGO Kits, September 15-20 (you choose the day and time that is convenient)
Come by the library during open hours the week of September 15. We will provide a themed container of various LEGOs for you to use in the library. Using only the bricks provided and your creativity, make your build. Your creation will be added to the LEGO display at the library.

•Junior Threads and More, Monday, Sept. 15, 1 p.m..
Do you crochet, knit, needlepoint, sew, quilt or like to draw? Come hang out and work on your unfinished projects, show off finished projects, or check out what other people are doing.
Great chance to meet new people!

•Book Club (Grades 3-5), Tuesday, Sept. 16 and 30, 4:30 p.m..
In this two session book club, the participants will receive the book on the first day to read at home. Then it will be discussed at the following session. Please register for both days on the YPL website.

•Toddler Play, Wednesday, Sept. 17, 10:30 a.m..
Caregivers and littles stop by to play at the library and meet new friends. No registration needed.

•Afternoon Hang Out: Puzzles, Thursday, Sept. 18, 1 p.m..
Do you like puzzles? We do! Make new friends while working on a puzzle. Register today!

•Book Club (Grades 1-2), Saturday, Sept. 20 and 27, 9:30 a.m..
In this two session book club, we will read an easy reader chapter book and discuss it. Please register for both dates on the YPL website.
