The 10th annual “Mini Golf FUN Raiser” at the Yorkville Public Library was held February 4. The Yorkville Public Library and Friends of the Library want to thank everyone, especially you the players, who made this event so successful. We raised more than $8,600, which will all go to the Library for programs and services.

We are grateful to the many sponsors, decorators, raffle donors and the dozens of volunteers who made this event happen. A big thank you to Yorkville High School coaches Dan McGuire and Tom Cerven and their students for moving the greens for set up and tear down. Addison Peacock and members of the NHS interacted with families doing face painting and helping wherever needed. Merry Hearts Clowns and Costumers with a Cause contributed to the family fun with their generous time and talent. Pictures with the superheroes and the balloon sculptures were a big hit!

The entire Library staff, under the extraordinary direction of Shelley Augustine, gave their endless support so graciously. A huge shout out to Katelyn Gregory, Community Engagement and Marketing Coordinator, who has taken this event to a whole new level. This event would not have been possible without Shelley and Katelyn’s total commitment and tireless work in making this a fun event for the community.

Thank you, Yorkville, for supporting this yearly event at the Library. See you next year!
