Somonauk resident Alexandria Kirch was among more than 1,000 Aurora University students awarded degrees on commencement weekend Saturday and Sunday, May 7-8. Undergraduates were conferred degrees Saturday, graduate-students received degrees Sunday. Kirch completed a double major bachelor’s degree with a 4.0 grade-point average to earn summa cum laude honors. Other honors were gold ivy leaf medallion for superior scholarship and membership in Phi Eta Sigma national honor society.
