The Aurora and Fox Valley community are invited to the 70th Kiwanis Pancake Day at Aurora Central Catholic High School, 1255 N. Edgelawn Drive, Aurora, from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 14.
The Kiwanis Club of Aurora in its 104th year celebration will present the annual breakfast event to fund their work with children and the community. Last year, the club served more than 1,200 breakfasts.
Kiwanis Club of Aurora president, Steve Andras, said, “I’m so happy for the continued community support of this outstanding event since 1951.”
The breakfast will feature basket raffles.
Annually, the Aurora, Illinois Kiwanis Foundation donates some $30,000, primarily to Auroras youth. These donations occur through awarding of Kiwanis scholarships (managed by the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley); subsidies to Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and baseball teams; help to area youth programs; and the sponsorship of clubs for youth at the high school and college levels.
Tickets may be purchased from Aurora Kiwanis members in advance for $8 per individual or $10 at the door. Online purchases visit aurorakiwanis.org/Page/43709.
