4-H Pork Chop Dinner June 20
The annual Friends of Extension and 4-H Foundation Pork Chop Dinner will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 20 at the University of Illinois Extension office, 7775B IL Route 47, Yorkville.
Each pork meal includes applesauce, coleslaw, baked beans, dinner roll, and cookie. A two-chop dinner is $12, one-chop dinner is $11, or a pork-burger meal is $7.
All proceeds will help support the community programs provided by Illinois Extension in Kendall County, including 4-H Youth Development, Master Gardeners, Master Naturalists, and Nutrition and Wellness.
Tickets will be available through 4-H members and the Kendall County Extension office until May 31; a very limited number of tickets will be available at the door for an extra dollar charge per ticket.

EA Tomcat football golf June 6
The East Aurora Tomcat football golf outing fundraiser will be held Thursday, June 6 at Bliss Creek Golf Course, 1 Golfview Lane, Sugar Grove, the former Prestbury Golf Course, to celebrate and support the 2019 Tomcat football team. Registration and sign-in will begin at 10 a.m. with an 11 a.m. shotgun start. The cost will be $125 for each player or $450 for a foursome. Each participant will have 18 holes of golf, a lunch ticket, and a steak dinner at the Open Range Southwest Grill, in the Bliss Creek Club House.

With this fundraiser we plan on using the proceeds to help Tomcat football reach the next level by: Purchasing at least nine Thursday night team meals/halftime snacks; updating our sideline and end zone camera systems; purchasing single man and two-man sleds; tackling donuts to practice and develop safer tackling habits; updated agility and hand bags for individual and group practice.
