Is there a reason for our intellect?
There must be–perhaps more than we suspect
This thought occurs a lot to mortal man
Have tantalized our minds since man began.
But then there is no answer we can touch,
We simply shrug it off, not caring much.
We view it as conjecture, nothing more;
We have no cogent means by which to score.
We’re told by Science all such attempts are flawed,
Because,, inevitably, it points to God;
Since God, officially, does not exist
It makes no sense, therefore, to so enlist.
But once accepting God in all of this,
There will be theories difficult to miss.
The evidence of what we have achieved
Promotes a vein of goodness be believed.
That’s not the end…even a little bit.
It comes down to what we have done with it.
And there is this we will be forced to face:
Precisely how we treat this human race.
We all must learn to live in peace as one;
Excluding none, when all is said and done.
Sooner or later, we must face this fact;
There’s no tomorrow if we do not act!
