Halloween Happening, presented by Woody Buick/GMC, will return for 2021 at the Grand Pavilion at the Riverwalk in Naperville from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24. This free event is designed for children ages 10 and under and will feature Halloween-themed games and activity stations where they can collect treats and win prizes. The spacious lawn at the Grand Pavilion will allow the activities to be spread out. Kids are welcome to wear their favorite costumes to the event.

Halloween Happening began in 1983 as safe alternative to trick-or-treating in a family-friendly community setting. The event has continued every year since then, except 2020, when the Park District offered “Halloween Nights Lights” as a drive-through experience in its place during the height of the pandemic. Now in its 38th year, Halloween Happening has become a tradition in Naperville.
