Aurora Noon Lions Club’s “Frosty Flapjacks” pancake breakfast fundraiser Saturday, Jan. 29, will feature free giveaways and raffle prizes.
The first-ever event will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, at Luigi’s Pizza and Fun Center, 732 Prairie Street in Aurora.
The public is invited. Parking is free. The menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, mini donuts, orange juice, coffee, or milk.
Bill Poss, Luigi’s owner and a Noon Lion, will donate a free snowman pizza kit, a $5.49 value, for each ticket purchased. Kits include dough, cheese and up to three toppings.
Thirty raffle prizes will be offered and include 12 $5 arcade game cards, two arcade family packs and a half dozen snowball kits with cotton balls. Raffle tickets are six for $5, or $1 each.
Breakfast tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children three to 12 years old. Proceeds will benefit Lions’ programs to aid vision- and deaf/hearing-impaired persons.
Students from East Aurora High School’s Distributed Education Club of America and Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps have been invited to volunteer with Lions members.
Tickets are available at the door, from Noon Lions, by calling 630-921-1307.
