Pearl Harbor Day luncheon Dec. 9 in Batavia

The Aurora Navy League Council 247 and Rotary Club of Aurora United will hold their annual Pearl Harbor Day Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, at the Lincoln Inn, 1345 Batavia Avenue (IL-31), Batavia. As usual, veterans will be honored, achievement awards will be presented to high school students, a color guard will post the colors, and the keynote speaker, the Commanding Officer of the Naval Reserve Center, Great Lakes, Captain Christopher Labissiere, USN, will cap off the event.

maebeling@att.net. He will pre-register you and you may then pay for your ticket at the door. Please preregister because the event is heavily-attended. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $30 person, if available. The $30 fee covers a generous food buffet, coffee/tea, dessert, and all events.
