In celebration of America’s milestone 250th Anniversary, FTD Ministry will host Pets & Patriots 250, a landmark community event dedicated to honoring local heroes and raising tangible support for veteran mental health.
The free public event will take place Sunday, July 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the historic Two Brothers Roundhouse, 205 N Broadway, Aurora.
“Pets & Patriots 250” focuses heavily on the life-saving bond between former service members and their companion or service animals, with all on-site donations directly funding local veteran mental health support programs and animal rescue affiliates.
The Walk for Wellness will start the morning with a procession of veterans, first responders, and service animals arriving at the Roundhouse campus.
From 9 a.m. to noon “American Muscle” Showcase: Supercharging the venue’s beloved weekly Cars & Coffee tradition.
Following the car show the celebration will move inside the historic Roundhouse for an exclusive, high-energy patriotic concert featuring top local talent from the Chicagoland area.
Pets & Patriots 250 is made possible through a powerful strategic partnership between FTD Ministry, the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs, the All Pets Wellness Foundation, Rover Rescue, and the Illinois Veterans Assistance Commission.
Admission is entirely free to the public. Community members can RSVP online at eventbrite.com. Local businesses and organizations interested in participating can register as a vendor at ftdministry.org.
