The Venue, 21 S. Broadway, Aurora, will celebrate its seventh birthday with two outdoor shows at the end of June. The concerts will be held rain or shine at adjacent Mundy Park Friday, June 26 and Sunday, June 28.
Chicago Farmer and The Fieldnotes will start the celebration on Friday night at 8 p.m.. The party will continue with a special musical celebration Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. featuring the Music of Laurel Canyon. Both shows are general admission. Tickets cost $25 plus fees.
Chairs and blankets are encouraged. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase on site and are not allowed to be brought into the park. Water and food items (no coolers) are welcome. For tickets and up-to-date show information, visit themusicvenue.org.
