The event, Saturday, Nov. 21, at The Venue, 21 S. Broadway, in downtown Aurora, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. will feature on-site healthcare services, including screenings, plus educational workshops covering nutrition and exercise, guest speakers, and resource organizations dedicated to helping individuals. Free admission. Vendor space is still available, please contact Rick Sanchez, at Legacy Nutrition & Fitness by phone: 630-499-7773 or by E-mail: legacyfitmo@gmail.com.

November is “National Diabetes Awareness Month”, an opportunity to highlight the importance of early detection and treatment of diabetes, which can help prevent serious health problems.

Uncontrolled blood sugar (glucose) can cause vision, heart and dental problems, in addition to nerve and kidney damage. Eat healthy, stay active, and have a yearly blood test, to stay diabetes free!
