Silent auction gifts fill the table Saturday at the Jennings Terrace 60th Anniversary Pancake Breakfast Bazaar in Aurora.
The Jennings Terrace Auxiliary in Aurora was host to the 60th Annual Fall Bazaar and Pancake Breakfast, Saturday, Nov. 10. The all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast offered a variety of pancakes, in addition to bacon, sausage, coffee, and juice at the Jennings Terrace Assisted Living Main Dining Room.
Jennings Terrace is at 275 S. LaSalle Street, in Aurora and is an independent, not-for-profit providing affordable assisted living and long term care for adults, 50 years old or better. Jennings is celebrating its 75th year of serving the needs of the community.
The Harvest Fall Fundraiser offered Grandma’s Attic Treasures, a Garage Sale Buyers indoor delight, with household items, vintage jewelry, books, linens, toys, tools, holiday decorations, and glassware. New this year was the addition of a Friday Sale Day for the Attic Treasures.
The Fall Bazaar Fundraiser has been presented by the Jennings Terrace Auxiliary since the volunteer support group was organized in 1958. Proceeds from The Bazaar and Harvest Pancake Breakfast support resident activities, entertainment, social events and special projects throughout the year.
