Batavia resident Eleanor Bates celebrates her 95th birthday Sunday, Jan. 6 with friends from Sons of Norway Polar Star Lodge 5-472 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Montgomery. Lodge friends join hands and circle around Bates to sing the Fodselsdagen Norwegian birthday song.
