Friends of West Aurora Cemetery, a nonprofit caretaking of a cemetery home to Aurora pioneers and Civil War veterans, is offering donated bottled honey to 10 donors of $25.

According to a Facebook statement, “We… have received a challenge from a local beekeeper, Wilder Side Honey, to plant a tree this fall in the West Aurora Cemetery. Hopefully a “bee” friendly variety! He has donated 10 one-and-a-half pound bottles of local honey to give to the first 10 people who donate $25 to the cause. Please send a check payable to West Aurora Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 9, North Aurora, IL 60542. To make arrangements for the honey, please include your phone number or E-mail address.”
