Poem: About That Crazy Ant

Share this article:

I know you recall there was once this one ant
Who wanted to move a big rubber tree plant.
From what we are told all he had was just hope,
Oblivious, seemingly, to its vast scope.
Well, if hope was all that he had, there’s no way
He’d move much of anything, (physics at play).
Well, move it he did, (for that’s what we’ve been told).
But how? That’s the question that never gets old.
However, one aspect of this may well come as a jolt;
In fact, it has hit like a Thor thunder-bolt!
We dare not let talent like this go to waste;
And that means not only act now but with haste.
We must recognize that the ants rule this world;
Or could—if their full weight against us was hurled.
The best we can hope is the egg plant was not
In any analysis a warning shot.
