Air Classics Museum of Aviation in Sugar Grove offers tours

The Air Classics Museum of Aviation in Sugar Grove is open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., April through October, and will be closed for major holidays. Admission is $8. for adults, $5. for seniors 62 and older and children. Children under five are free of charge.
The Museum entrance is one mile west of the main airport entrance at 44W546 U.S. Route 30, features indoor and outdoor displays of aircraft, equipment, and memorability from the 1930s to the present. The numerous outdoor airplane display collection includes World War II vintage fighters, the P-40 Warhawk, the P-47 Thunderbolt, and the P-51 Mustang. Visitors can sit in a Vietnam era UH-1H “Huey” helicopter and an A-7E Corsair 11 that flew in the Gulf War.
Organized tours for schools and other groups are available Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m..
