Naperville Park Board vice president, Leslie Ruffing, presented a certificate of honor to Alex Barger, left, recently named Gatorade Illinois Boys Soccer Player of the Year. He began playing soccer at age five with the Naperville Park District’s Naperville Youth Soccer program and went on to play varsity soccer for Naperville North High School.
