The Aurora Navy League Council 247 and Rotary Club of Aurora United will hold their annual Pearl Harbor Day Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, at the Lincoln Inn, 1345 Batavia Ave (IL-31), Batavia. As usual, veterans will be honored, achievement awards will be presented to local high school students, a local color guard will post the colors, and a keynote speaker from the Great Lakes Naval Base will cap off the event.
This is a heavily attended event with pre-registration requested if possible. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $30 per person. We expect more than 300 people to attend. To pre-register please call Lisa Garcia at 630-486-9869 or send her an email at lisag@rcwegman.com. She will pre-register you and you may then pay for your ticket at the door registration. The $30 fee covers a generous food buffet, coffee/tea, dessert, and all events.
