The Second Annual Tom-A-Hawk 5K Turkey Trot will be Saturday, Nov. 19 in Downtown Aurora. The A+ Foundation for West Aurora Schools and the Aurora East Educational Foundation co-host this event to raise funds for public education students in Aurora. The beautiful (Fox) River trail course starts at the Wilder Promenade and finishes crossing the Tom Wiesner pedestrian bridge. After-race party will be held at Two Brothers Roundhouse. Registered race runners receive long-sleeve dri-fit shirt, race finisher medal, and a free drink of choice at Two Brothers. Event will be fun. Two start times: Competitive runners will be at 8:45 a.m. and runners/walkers at 9 a.m..
