Kids run to find and collect a record 3,500 eggs Saturday at the Aurora Advent Christian Church’s annual Easter Egg Scramble. Approximately 100 children through fifth grade participated in the hour-long, free, event on the Church’s north lawn in Aurora. A youngster, far left, collects an egg with a basket. Reverend Matt Mull produced a chocolate bunny during his welcome remarks. Last year the event was canceled due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 in March 2020.
