Pancakes, chili, and bingo will be featured in fundraisers by St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 27 S. Edgelawn Drive, Aurora
Pancakes will be served Sunday, March 15, at 8:30 a.m., in Sanctuary Hall at the church. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, applesauce, coffee, juice, and milk. A freewill offering is requested. Proceeds will benefit a pastors’ discretionary fund.
The annual chili cookoff and bingo will be held Saturday, March 21, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.. Adult unlimited chili tastings will include cornbread, salad, dessert, beverage, and three tickets to vote for best chili. Proceeds will benefit a summer high school mission trip to Brooklyn, N.Y. The top chili chef voted by attendees will be awarded a gift card.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children. Childrens’ meals include a hot dog or two chili tastings, cornbread, salad, dessert and beverage.
Bingo will begin after the cookoff. Cards are $1.
