Cosmopolitan Club of Aurora members and friends, Thursday, Jan. 20, will meeting, at the Oak Street Restaurant, 945 Oak Street, in North Aurora. The social/dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m..
Guest speaker for the membership meeting will be Cosmo member, Peggy Hasenauer, executive director of the UChicago Medicine-Kovler Diabetes Center.
She will bring us up to date on Kovler’s diabetes research program, along with other happenings at Kovler.
The Cosmopolitan Club of Aurora, “The Club That Fights Diabetes”, will be giving it’s first grant of 2022, in the amount of $3,000, to the Kovler Diabetes Center, for research in their continued efforts to find a cure for diabetes.
