The Cocoa Crawl, a part of Aurora First Fridays, sponsored by Aurora Downtown Friday, fills sites, sidewalks, and stores. The sold-out promotion included the crowd at the Paramount School of the Arts, right, on Galena Boulevard and Stolp Avenue west of the Paramount Theatre. More than 30 venues participated in the Cocoa Crawl. Approximately 10 additional sites offered the usual attractions for First Fridays. Food trucks were on site. Music, including dancing, free trolley rides, and fun were evident. Restaurants, Waubonsee Community College, the Aurora Public Library, and shops on many streets were participants. Tavern on Broadway held a sneak preview. The weather for the event was cooperative. First Fridays will return in February 2020 and is held 10 times each year. The annual event has continued to attract large crowds to downtown Aurora. Jason Crane/The Voice
