“It is such an honor to be able to theme an evening around women in our community. There are a countless number of amazing women that have helped shape our city,” said Marissa Amoni, manager of Aurora Downtown.

Amoni said that about a dozen venues will participate in the Women in the Front theme for First Fridays, which will include special exhibits and feature many women-owned businesses.

Food trucks will return May 5 for Aurora Downtown’s Food Truck Festival.

Throughout downtown, the First Fridays event lineup includes more than 30 venues with activities for all ages.
