The Aurora GreenFest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 will be all about sustainability and living gently on the earth.
Parking at Prisco Community Center, 150 W. Illinois, is limited and there is a parking plan which includes Aurora Township shuttle bus service to and from four large parking lots in downtown Aurora:
• Aurora City garage at the northwest corner of Broadway and Illinois, 757 N. Broadway;
• Aurora Transportation Center, 233 N. Broadway. Parking is $2 with cash, $2.35 with a credit card. Pick-up will be near the train station;
• Aurora Township Office, 80 N. Broadway;
• Lot W on River Street just north of the casino on the west side of the Fox River. Pick-up will be at the corner of River Street and Cedar Street.
There will be GreenFest shuttle bus flags at each location. The shuttle bus will come by approximately every 15 minutes to pick up GreenFest visitors. Please use car pool, if possible.
GreenFest will go on, rain or shine.
