Isabel Pike from Aurora, a member of Girl Scout Troope 4340, has a captive audience for her Seriously Recycling presentation at the 10th Aurora GreenFest Saturday at the Prisco Center in Aurora. Working to achieve the Girl Scout Silver Award, she created a one Million year timeline of how long it takes items to decompose. She explained the importance of reusable K cups and straws. The Silver Award is the second highest award of the Girl Scouts of the USA.

The Illinois Solar Energy Association (ISEA) Solar House is a self-contained demonstration lab containing photovoltaic (pv) panels. The ISEA Solar House, one of the first of its kind was on display at the Aurora GreenFest. ISEA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
