Aurora Knights of Columbus Council 14929 will hold a benefit spaghetti dinner fundraiser Wednesday, Oct. 27, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Luigi’s Pizza, 732 Prairie Street in Aurora.
The public is invited. Parking is free. Patrons may dine in or take carryouts. The menu includes spaghetti with meatballs, or chicken breast, tossed salad, bread, and a cookie. Cost is $10 each.
Proceeds will benefit tuition assistance for students at Pope St. John Paul II Catholic Academy, a school with two campuses in southeast Aurora. The Catholic Diocese of Rockford, with an Aurora Task Force Committee, opened the academy in the 2018–2019 school year.
The school combined four schools at Aurora parishes, Our Lady of Good Counsel, St. Joseph, St. Peter and St. Therese of Jesus schools.
