The Aurora Public Library Foundation is proud to invite the community to attend this year’s Annual Winter Gala Saturday, Dec. 2! This year’s event once more will feature the Windy City Dueling Pianos for the night’s entertainment. Dinner will be provided by Reuland’s Catering and the auction will feature fabulous items such as a stay in Gatlinburg Tenn. and a cottage in Florida, as well as a Party on the new Library Bookmobile and tickets and dinner to the Marriott Theatre!
Through the generous support of community members, local businesses and the Foundation Board, this year’s Winter Gala is on track to outraise funds over last year’s!
“There is overwhelming support and love for the Library in Aurora! It is an honor to be a part of an organization that every day, opens its doors to the community and welcomes it into a space they can learn, collaborate, and belong in,” said Jordan Debbink-Lesniak, Foundation manager. ‘We are especially proud to honor Ms Cheryl VonHoff with the Thomas J. Weisner Award for Excellence in Education Collaboration and Mr. Jim Pilmer with the Lifelong Learning Inspiration Award!”
As the Foundation looks forward to 2024, donors will have an opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting special projects throughout the year! The development of a new Monthly Giving Circle Program will offer opportunities for donors to make a gift that every month will impact the life of a community in Aurora.
