Poem: Take Autumn To Heart

Share this article:

You smiled when you knew it was Autumn again;
You’ve always enjoyed how the weather changed then.
Of course, there are down-sides—there’s no changing that;
There’s really no way you can let things stand pat
You love all the niceties Nature conceives;
Except when you’re faced with the task raking leaves.
Then, too, when the weather will catch you off-guard,
With rain, sleet, or snow, freezing temps, on the card.
There are many things which will test your elan;
It seems it has barely begun when it’s gone.
Whatever you choose to do, things to employ,
Take Autumn to heart, and, above all, enjoy!
